Yet more proof of the fact that I have far too much time on my hands. For simplicity's sake, my parallell uses the animated series of X-men's version of the story, rather than the comic version which doesn't make the point as well.

Basically, I got to thinking and discovered a parallell between Silver's story and Days Of Future Past. XD It makes me laugh, as well as ponder on either coincidences or the fact that the Sega Team watch the same cartoons I do.

Examples.

Silver goes back in time to kill Sonic/Bishop goes back in time to kill Gambit.

Silver believes that Sonic is the Iblis Trigger, ie the cause of Iblis causing the world to be in flames/Bishop believes that Gambit assassinated Kelly, ie the cause of mutants being put into containment camps and the world being run by Sentinals.

Sonic is innocent/Gambit is innocent.


Silver/Bishop.

Iblis/Sentinals.

Blaze/Forge.

Sonic/Gambit.

Mephiles/Mystique.

Silver belongs to Sega; they can keep him! Sonic, Blaze, Mephiles and Iblis also belong to Sega.
